Welcome

At Turningpoint Psychotherapy, P.C., our vision is to move Lancaster County's underserved population as well as State-wide and surrounding areas to a state of empowerment and self-determination, by enabling them to employ innovative strategies to produce desirable actions that lead to healthy lifestyles. TPP is dedicated to the community it serves. Through seminars, therapeutic groups, individual, couples, and family counseling, the practice strives to raise public awareness to the needs of at-risk residents within our community. Services are designed to strengthen and increase self-esteem, self-respect, and respect for others in society, promote healthy lifestyles, and to address issues relating to improving the quality of their lives.

THE CHALLENE OF MAKING A NEW LIFE

Leaving your country to a new culture is always a challenge – even under the best of circumstances. At times, family problems, worries about children/ personal feelings of sadness and loss can be overwhelming, making it more difficult to look for work, learn English or maintain good family relationships with the family in the country of origin is an obstacle. As a former refugee from Sudan, I understand the benefits counseling can bring to individual client could be rewarding and beneficial as well to their life. Therefore, TPP will strive to provide the professional counseling and support to help sustain an emotionally healthy life-style you wish to maintain.
